Our Mission

Our mission is to provide marginalized young adults in Greater Vancouver with opportunities to access education and skills development programs to improve their knowledge, self-esteem, livelihoods, and enhance their social and economic inclusion.

The STAND Foundation seeks to help young adults who are experiencing or have been exposed to factors such as crime, alcohol and/or substance abuse, violence, prejudice, poverty, unstable family environment, and/or chronic unemployment.

How We Do It

We provide financial assistance and mentorship opportunities to those in need.

We concentrate our effort on young adults from the Greater Vancouver area who have overcome significant personal and family challenges.

We are all professionals volunteering time and resources to help others – hence our low administrative expenses of less than 10%.
